Empieza febrero: Moda, arte y amor

Hoy ya estamos en la víspera de febrero, un mes que me encanta porque sí o sí todo empieza a cobrar vida y forma. Este mes es el mes de la moda con el MFShow, MBFWM, La Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo en Madrid (Arco Madrid) y un mes también dedicado al amor con el día de San Valentín. 

Así que como veréis estaré muy ocupada en los próximos días pero os mantendré actualizadas a dónde sea que vaya. El look de hoy es una nueva reinterpretación de las botas por encima de la rodilla, popularizadas por muchos diseñadores como Stuart Weitzman y conocidas en el mundo fashionista como Over The Knee Boots.  

Para esta sesión de fotos quería destacar una actitud retro con toques futuristas con un vestido a rayas en colores tierra con aires boho, el toque futurista con las botas, y para rematar el look, el bolso de LV. Reinterpretar un look es eso, es ver tu fondo de armario y sacar el máximo potencial de cada prenda, romper las reglas de lo escrito en moda al estilo Miroslava Duma e ir seguros y felices este mes de febrero que estará pleno de eventos y salidas, la creatividad deberá ser inagotable!!!

Today we are on the eve of February, a month that I love because no matter what, everything starts taking shape. This is the month of fashion with the MFShow, MBFWM, the International Contemporary Art Fair in Madrid (Arco Madrid) and a month dedicated also love with Valentine’s Day.

So as you can see I will be very busy in the next few days but I will keep you updated and inspired wherever I go. Today's look is a new reinterpretation of boots above the knee, popularized by many designers as Stuart Weitzman and known in the fashion world as Over The Knee Boots.

For this photoshoot  I wanted to  highlight a retro attitude with futuristic touches, a striped dress in earth colors with boho style, the futuristic touch with the boots, and to finish off the look, the LV bag. To reinterpret a look is just that, it is to see your wardrobe and get the full potential of each piece, break the rules written in fashion as  Miroslava Duma does and go safe and happy this February, which will be full of events and will require a lot of creativity!!!

Uno de esos días pasados y lluviosos en Madrid, que en literatura pudiera ser un tópico de que el curso de lo normal podría variar, eventos desafortunados o malas noticias pero una invitación al nuevo espacio de belleza Ciabal Wellness en pleno Barrio de Salamanca hace que me olvide de ese tópico y me aventure a un descubrimiento totalmente excepcional.

Dos hermanas, Cristina y Marlene Arana, con un pasado en sabiduría medicinal ancestral gracias al abuelo de estas chicas paraguayas que hoy residen en España. Tras más de 15 años de experiencia nos envuelven en una filosofía: “Somos lo que comemos, olemos y sentimos”.

Bajo este concepto Cristina y Marlene nos dan la bienvenida a un espacio de belleza único con  tratamientos faciales y corporales totalmente naturales que  varían según las necesidades de cada quien, desde tratamientos de belleza enfocados a tratamientos terapéuticos, tratamientos para embarazadas y novias,  rituales relajantes para parejas hasta asesoramiento nutricional de la mano del coach deportivo Alberto Oliveras Rubio. 

Lo más relajante de todo son las propias técnicas, habéis oído hablar del micronizado de flores, hierbas maceradas con hidratos y el uso de aceites esenciales, un masaje de manos reconstituyente que finaliza con una manicura  y aromaterapia? Al menos en Nueva York, Londres y Tokio ya es tendencia y sabemos que existen famosas como Gwyneth Paltrow, Gisele Bündchen, Angelina Jolie, entre otras, que son fanáticas de algunos de estos tratamientos.

A mí me ha parecido fenomenal combinar naturaleza, respeto al medio ambiente, el equilibrio del cuerpo, la mente y todos los sentidos en un espacio lleno de alquimias y elixirs provenientes de la India y Asia en preciosas botellas, un diseño de interiores bien pensado y en línea con lo natural, velas, infusiones y textiles en concordancia con el medio ambiente. 

Ciabal Wellness promete “haceros sentir como en casa con un ambiente exclusivo y privado”.  Para mí ha sido como haber encontrado una piedra filosofal, un elixir de la belleza a precios ideales en pleno corazón de Madrid.

One of those past and rainy days in Madrid, which in literature could be a  classic topic about unfortunate events and bad news but an invitation to the new beauty space Ciabal Wellness in the Barrio de Salamanca makes me forget that topic and I ventured to a totally exceptional discovery.

Two sisters, Cristina and Marlene Arana, with a past in ancient medical wisdom thanks to the grandfather of these Paraguayan girls who now live in Spain. After more than 15 years of experience they created  a beauty philosophy: "We are what we eat, smell and feel."

Under this concept Marlene and Cristina welcome us to a place of unique beauty with all-natural facial and body treatments, they vary according to the needs of everyone, from beauty treatments aimed at therapeutic treatments, treatments for pregnant women,  brides, relaxing rituals for couples and  nutritional counseling by the sport coach Alberto Oliveras Rubio.

The most relaxing of all are the techniques themselves, have you heard of micronized flowers, herbs macerated with hydrates and the use of essential oils, massage hands restorative ending with a manicure and aromatherapy? At least in New York, London and Tokyo is already a trend and we know that there are celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Gisele Bundchen, Angelina Jolie, among others, that are fans of some of these treatments.

The Kooples + Louis Vuitton + El Jardín Secreto de Salvador Bachiller

Hola chicas! Tras un ligero descanso, aquí estoy de vuelta escribiendo para vosotras y nada más y nada menos que con novedades de algunos de los regalos de los reyes y en un lugar encantador de Madrid, que para muchas de vosotras ya no es un secreto.

Esta sesión de fotos como veréis me ha tomado escribiendo, preparando diversos proyectos y nuevas sorpresas con respecto al blog con mi nueva MacBook Air (gracias reyes) y no podía llenarme de más inspiración que el Jardín Secreto de Salvador Bachiller, un espacio al aire libre y un verdadero “oasis en pleno centro de Madrid”. Aunque también estuve más tiempo en el VIP Lounge que queda justo en la planta de abajo, me han cautivado sus muebles vintage, tartas artesanales y donde no dudé en degustar el zumo detox de granada y el batido de vainilla y brownie. 

Con respecto al look, la estrella ha sido el otro regalo de reyes, Chain Louise, un bolso con el que venía soñando y que he combinado con esta camiseta con una ilustración muy original y detalles en rojo con el blazer del mismo color  y unos vaqueros skinny con el bajo  doblado.

Hi girls! After a short break, I'm back here writing to you with all the novelties and gifts that I got from the three kings, altogether,  in a lovely spot of Madrid which for many of you is no longer a secret.

This photo shoot took me writing and preparing various projects and new surprises with respect to the blog with my new  gift, a MacBook Air and I could not be filled with more inspiration than in the Secret Garden of Salvador Bachiller, outdoor space and a true "oasis in the heart of Madrid". Although I was also longer time in the VIP Lounge which is right on the ground floor, I have been captivated by  their vintage furniture, handmade cakes and a pomegranate detox juice and a vanilla and brownie flavour milkshake.

Regarding the look, the star was another gift from the three kings, Chain Louise, a bag with which I have been dreaming and I combined it with a tshirt with a very original illustration and details in red with a blazer in the same color and skinny jeans with a folded boot.
