Friends Fashion Art 20 years: Desfile de Enrique Cruz-Calonge

Como les había adelantado el pasado domingo, hoy estrenamos una nueva entrada al blog dedicada a eventos especiales del mundo de la moda, belleza y estilos de vida. Hoy particularmente me complace en hablaros sobre el II Desfile Friends Fashion Art del artista Enrique Cruz-Calonge por la celebración de los 20 años de su trayectoria artística en Fortuny - Madrid.

El evento ha estado lleno de lo que prometía, caras conocidas, amigos, arte, flamenco, moda y poesía. Particularmente me ha gustado esa mezcla entre las diversas disciplinas que va desde simbolismos, Raíces (dedicada al mundo taurino), homenajes a Kandinsky hasta poesía en las prendas de vestir tanto masculinas como femeninas y finalizar la noche con talentos como el cantante José Mora, la escuela de danza Trinidad Artiguez y la misma bailaora Trinidad Artiguez. 

Este artista madrileño con raíces manchegas e hijo de torero es ampliamente conocido como referente del arte contemporáneo, sus simbolismos de sentido religioso y modernista le ha llevado a premios de pintura como el Premio Isidro Antequera además de haber sido convocado para exponer en Nueva York, Londres, Milán, París, Tokio y próximamente comenzará un nuevo proyecto en México.

Ha sido todo un placer haber asistido, mil gracias a Living Madrid Eventos, Glam Out España a todos los organizadores y por supuesto a Enrique Cruz-Calonge por una propuesta de moda llena de arte y fusión.

As I mentioned last  Sunday, today we released a new blog post dedicated to special events in the world of fashion, beauty and lifestyle. I am particularly pleased to speak today about the II fashion show by the  artist Enrique Cruz-Calonge: Friends Fashion Art for the celebration of 20 years of his artistic career that took place in Fortuny - Madrid.

The event was full of  what it promised, familiar faces, friends, art, flamenco, fashion and poetry. I particularly liked the mix between the various disciplines ranging from symbolism, Raíces (dedicated to bullfighting), tributes to Kandinsky,  poetry in clothing both male and female and also the performance of different talents as the singer Jose Mora, the dance school Trinidad Artiguez and Trinidad Artiguez performing as well.

This artist from Madrid with roots from  La Mancha and son of a bullfighter is widely known as a benchmark of contemporary art, its symbolism of religious and modernist sense led him to prizes as the Isidro Antequera Award as well as being called to exhibit in New York, London, Milan, Paris, Tokyo and soon he will begin a new project in Mexico.

It has been a pleasure to have attended, many thanks to Living Madrid Events, Glam Out Spain to all the organizers and of course Enrique Cruz-Calonge for a night full of art and fashion fusion.

Army + Premios Goya

Tras una noche de alfombra roja con los Premios Goya y el MFShowomen a punto de comenzar os he querido preparar un look alternativo para esos momentos intermedios entre tantas citas fashion. 

También os quiero adelantar de forma oficial que a partir de esta semana dedicaré todos los martes a escribiros sobre todos los eventos a los que voy, así que os mantendréis al tanto de todo todito, no os olvidéis, domingos ideas de looks, martes noticias y eventos y jueves más looks, preparadas? Es que la vida es mejor cuando se comparte!

Antes de mostraros las fotos de mi look, simplemente comentar los estilismos de los Goya, qué tal os han parecido? Yo os debo confesar que esperaba más sorpresa, más looks originales y atrevidos. A pesar de mi desencanto, como asesora de imagen detecté unas elecciones muy acertadas en rosa cuarzo, algunos estampados florales y hasta unos amarillos aunque haya sido en versión doble… Que viva lo arriesgado y diferente!

Con respecto a mi look grunge y militar, el estilo army seguirá fuerte esta primavera, así que, a mezclarlo con diferentes texturas y estampados. Como veréis mi chaqueta militar tiene algo que se ha convertido en mi fuerte, esa calavera, y aunque os parezca raro veo un atractivo en ella, quizás la obra ‘For the Love of God’ de Damien Hirst pase algún día a ser parte de mi colección privada. After a night of red carpet styles with the Goya Awards and a MFShowomen about to start I have prepared an alternative look for those intermediate moments between the fashion events.

I also want to make official that all Tuesdays I’ll  write about all events that I go, so I will keep on top of everything and absolutely everything, so don’t  forget, Sunday ideas of looks, Tuesday news and events and Thursday's more looks, ready? Life is better when is shared!

And about the Goya Awards, have you like any style in particular? I must confess that I expected more surprise, more original and daring looks. Despite my disappointment, as an image consultant I detected very successful choices in rose quartz, some floral prints and even a yellow look although it has been in double version ... Long live to the risky and different!

Regarding my grunge and army  look, the army style will remain strong this spring, so mix it with different textures and patterns. As you can see my military jacket has something that has become my strength, that skull, and although It might seem strange, I find something pretty on it, perhaps the work 'For the Love of God' by Damien Hirst someday will be part of my private collection. A kiss and good start of the week girls!

Flores en invierno y un chaleco extralong

Si hay algo que me ha gustado de la entrada del mes de febrero es la temperatura. Una sesión de fotos con menos capas superpuestas a modo avance de temporada es el resultado de un día con temperaturas mas altas.

Entramos ya, de forma oficial, en el calendario de la semana de la moda. Barcelona ha estado con su 080bcnfashion con lo mejor en diseño y tendencias para el próximo otoño-invierno de la capital modernista, el MFShowmen ha comenzado hoy en Madrid y la semana que viene el MFShowomen, yo mientras tanto siguiendo todo por las redes y participar en lo máximo que pueda. Y como adelanto sólo puedo deciros que he conocido personalmente al actor Gerard Butler mientras firmaba las fragancias como embajador de Hugo Boss en El Corte Inglés… increible a que sí? Próximamente os contaré más sobre la experiencia!

Para la sesión de fotos de hoy he querido dejarme llevar por el “invierno primaveral”, como le llaman muchos, un pantalón lleno de flores, una camiseta negra y un chaleco extra-long en color camello, unas gafas, mi LV y mis preciados So Kate.

Espero que os arriesguéis pronto a ir quitando capas y dejar que la feminidad salga a flote, espero os gusten las fotos!

If there is anything that I liked about the entry of February is the temperature. A photo shoot with less overlapping layers, it seems more like a preview of season so it is simply the result of a day with a higher temperature.

We entered to the fashion week calendars. Barcelona has been with its 080bcnfashion with the best in design and trends for next autumn-winter from the capital of modernism, MFShowmen has started today in Madrid and next week the MFShowomen, I meanwhile follow all the networks and participate in as much as you can. And as advance I can only tell you that I have personally met the actor Gerard Butler as he signed fragrances as ambassador Hugo Boss in El Corte Inglés... isn´t  it incredible? Soon I'll tell you more about the experience!

For the photo shoot today I wanted to get carried away by the “winter- spring”, as many people are calling it, trousers full of flowers, a black shirt and an extra-long jacket in camel color, glasses, the LV bag and my precious So Kate .
