Hombros al descubierto con la tendencia ‘Off the shoulder’

Hola chic@s! Para el post dominical de hoy he caído finalmente rendida a una tendencia que recuerdo de las películas de los años 50, la sensualidad de un ícono de la moda y el poder de los complementos.

Os hablo de la tendencia que popularizó Brigitte Bardot, el famoso escote barco o ‘off the shoulder’ que es incluso llamado “Bardot” en el núcleo de la moda. Esto me recuerda al poder de las tendencias en el cine y muy pronto os hablaré de ello ya que tuve la oportunidad de asistir a un coloquio y presentación de un libro sobre cine y moda. 

Seguimos con la parte superior de los brazos que es lo que más veremos al descubierto en esta temporada y es que desde el punto de vista de todo asesor de imagen os lo recomiendo mucho porque se adapta a todo tipo de cuerpos, es un sexy renovado con un toque folk, volantes si os gustan, vestidos, camisas XL, vamos que lo veréis en infinidades de propuestas. Entre mis diseñadores favoritos que han renovado esta tendencia para esta primavera-verano 2016 me encantan Chloé,  Salvatore Ferragamo, Proenza Schouler y Prabal Gurung.

Mi interpretación del outfit de hoy es una mezcla en versión low-cost y lo he combinado con complementos un poco más sobrios para no quitarle el protagonismo al top ‘Bardot’, unos jeans rotos, con zapato de tacón midi o ‘kitten heel’, que por cierto es otra tendencia en alza, un sombrero a juego con los zapatos y el bolso LV.

Hello everyone! For today’s post I have finally fallen into a trend that reminds me the films of the 50s, the sensuality of a fashion icon and the power accessories.

I speak of the trend popularized by Brigitte Bardot, the famous off the shoulder top which is even called "Bardot" by fashion insiders. This reminds me of the power of cinema in the fashion trends which I will talk about in a future post as I had the opportunity to attend to a conference and book presentation about films and fashion.

But for now,  let's  continue with the off the shoulder trend. From the point of view of Image Consultant I recommend it because it suits all body types, is a renewed sexy look with a touch of folk, you will see it in  dresses, XL shirts, and in infinite number of proposals. Among my favorite designers who have renewed this trend I like a lot the spring-summer 2016 of  Chloé, Salvatore Ferragamo, Proenza Schouler and Prabal Gurung.

My interpretation of the outfit today is a mix  of low-cost version combined with a little more sober accessories to let shine the 'Bardot' top, distressed jeans, kitten heels, a matching hat and an LV bag.

Colores neutros donde sea que estés

¡Es juernes! Qué rápido se ha pasado la semana, entre eventos de moda, inauguraciones de tiendas, presentaciones de libros se han ido, eso sí, dulcemente mis horas, aunque os confieso que hoy me he despertado con más ganas de dormir. Os adelanto también que pronto, muy pronto, podréis disfrutar de la nueva imagen del blog, así que preparaos para el contenido de siempre pero repotenciado con un cambio de look. 

El estilismo que os he preparado para hoy surgió a consecuencia de una visita al Centro Comercial Plenilunio y he aprovechado la oportunidad para preparar unas fotos de ese día, que coincidió también con el partido de fútbol entre el Madrid y el Barça y en casa usualmente compartimos con amigos, hacemos barbacoas y disfrutamos de unos Dunkin’ Donuts que compré en el centro comercial. 

El outfit es en cierto modo casual con el toque del gorro, por ser un día nublado, y lo he combinado con una camiseta básica y la blazer, que en ocasiones se parece a un quimono al tener esa estructura oversize. Me he decantado por  unos jeans pitillo y los So Kate para estilizar y darle un toque diferente al look. Me ha ocurrido algo particular con las fotos y es que la fachada de los edificios de fondo combinan con mi look, realmente no fue planificado pero eso es lo que me gusta de los tono tierra, esa neutralidad que aportan y al mismo tiempo son muy versátiles a la hora de combinarlos, y es que al final la teoría del color está en todas partes.

Happy Thursday...almost Friday!  How quickly the week has went, between fashion events, store openings, book launches and this week is almost gone, although I must confess that today I woke up and wanted to sleep more, but I’m happy about being busy and doing what I love. And by the way, very soon, you will enjoy the new look of the blog, so be prepared for the usual content but with a new look.

The styling that I have prepared for today emerged as a result of a visit to the Plenilunio Shopping Centre here in Madrid, I took the opportunity to prepare some photos of that day, which also was on the same day of the football game between Madrid and Barcelona and we usually spend the games time at home with friends, we do a barbecues and I also bought Dunkin 'Donuts in the mall.

The outfit is in a casual look with the touch of that beenie, as it was a cloudy day, But I also combined it with a basic shirt and blazer, which sometimes resembles a kimono as it has that oversize structure. I opted for skinny jeans and the So Kate shoes to stylize and give a different touch to the look. As you can see the buildings’ facade in the background combines with my look, I really hadn't planned that way but that's what I like about the earth tones, the neutrality of the color and at the same time it is very versatile as it is easy to combine with other colors, funny but the theory of color is everywhere.

Roberto Verino: Presentación de la colección primavera-verano 2016

Buenas noches chic@s! Hoy os cuento sobre la presentación de la colección primavera - verano 2016 de Roberto Verino.

Platea Madrid ha sido el espacio para la presentación de la colección “Un Balcón al mar” del diseñador Roberto Verino, os confieso que ese día fue un no parar de eventos que finalizó de una manera magnífica. Todo Platea reservado para esta presentación muy exclusiva, medios de comunicación, celebridades, empresarios y los fashionistas más top estuvieron presentes en esta cita. Las prisas fueron tales que ni un cambio de outfit, como me hubiese gustado, pude tener a menos de que hubiese hecho como Anna Dello Russo, la famosa editora  de Vogue Japón, hace durante las fashion weeks y cambiarme en el coche. 

La colección de Roberto Verino una vez más marca su sello de identidad en donde lo comercial se mezcla con lo elegante. Vestidos vaporosos, cuellos ‘halter’, pantalones palazzo y mezclando la inspiración de los años 70 con estampados florales, rayas marineras y como siempre el negro presente en sus propuestas.

En palabras del propio Verino “La propuesta es un viaje por el mediterráneo con la intención de ver desde el mar todas nuestras costas”, así que este viaje reúne en estilo lo mejor de la inspiración  mediterránea. Entre copas, aperitivos y admirar los bolsos de la marca en las barras de Platea he finalizado un día fenomenal que comparto con todos vosotros.

Hello there! Today I will talk about  the presentation - spring- summer 2016 of the spanish designer Roberto Verino.

Platea Madrid has been the chosen space for the presentation of the collection "A balcony overlooking the sea" by Roberto Verino, I confess that that day was a non-stop day full of events but luckily it ended in a magnificent way. All Platea was reserved for this very exclusive presentation; the media, celebrities, businessmen and top fashionistas were present at this event. My day rush was so much that I couldn’t change my outfit as I wish I could have, unless I would had done as Anna Dello Russo, the famous editor of Vogue Japan, does during the fashion weeks and change in the car.

Roberto Verino collection once again its identity mark where the a commercial style is mixed with elegance. Floaty dresses, 'halter’ tops, palazzo pants and mixing the inspiration of the 70s with floral prints, stripes and the black color very present in the brand’s proposals.

According to Verino: "The proposal is a journey through the Mediterranean sea with the intention to see all of our shores," so this trip mixes all the best in style of Mediterranean inspiration. Among cocktails, appetizers and Roberto Verino bags everywhere I've finished a great day that now I share with you all.
