Sandalias Yves Saint Laurent: Tribute a medias

Jueves otra vez??? Que maravilla! Mientras llega el día en que la nueva imagen del blog esté lista al 100% os he preparado un look con un complemento que me pareció arriesgado y con aires de  Dries Van Noten con mis sandalias Tribute.

Desde hace tiempo estaba en la búsqueda de coordinar un look para romper las reglas de llevar las medias escondidas y hoy finalmente he logrado este outfit divertido y chic que buscaba. La fórmula ha sido simple, UNAS MEDIAS con sandalias!! Aunque os confieso que he buscado mucho las medias ideales. Para completar el look llevo la biker amarilla, esa que casi todas ya tenemos pero que es muy chula para dejarla pasar, una camisa denim, una falda con corte evasé o la famosa ‘A line skirt’ y un bolso inspirado en la colección de Chloé que va a juego con el verde de la falda. 

La clave de este outfit ha sido jugar con las texturas y entender la armonía del color, las flores de las medias le dan ese toque desenfadado al look y hacen que los YSL se vean con un aire renovado. Qué opináis os atrevéis ir a medias??

Thursday again ??? So nice! While the date of launching the blog’s image, I have prepared a look with an accessory that is edgy and inspired by Dries Van Noten.

For some time I have been coordinating a breaking-rules outfit. Why socks are always hidden? But I finally achieved this fun and chic look that I was looking for. The formula is simple, SOCKS with sandals! Although I confess I have searched a lot for the right pair. To complete the look I’m wearing the yellow biker, the one we all have but it is too cool to let it go, a denim shirt, an A line skirt and a bag inspired by the Chloé bag collection that also matches with the green skirt.

The key to this outfit has been playing with textures and understand the harmony of color, floral stockings give that casual touch to the look and gives to the YSL a renewed touch. Are sandals and socks an outfit you would try?

Gabriela Mora: Presentación de la colección ‘Machine’

Miércoles  de novedades! Hola, aquí estoy intentando mantenerme en la rutina y escribiros como de costumbre aunque de verdad ya quiero escribir desde la nueva web con el cambio de look que le he hecho, ya veis, hasta el blog se merece cambio de estilo.

El evento de hoy ha sido la presentación de la nueva colección ‘Machine’ de la marca de joyería de la arquitecta y diseñadora, Gabriela Mora, una venezolana afincada en Madrid y con una clara visión contemporánea en su trabajo. El descubrimiento de la historia que se esconde detrás de cada joya es todo un mundo creativo que para esta colección gira en torno al constructivismo ruso. 

El aire futurista está presente en estas joyas de vanguardia, la estética de construcción de cada pieza es realmente arquitectónico con esa mezcla exacta de arte conceptual como lo afirma la diseñadora: “Mis diseños son súper geométricos. Yo necesito la escala en mis creaciones, necesito saber el tamaño real que va a tener la pieza, por eso hago pequeñas maquetas de los dibujos para ver las medidas y luego es que me voy al metal”. Estas joyas son ideales para amantes del minimalismo, lo contemporáneo y lo abstracto.

La presentación de la colección ha tenido lugar en el restaurante y café, también de dueñas venezolanas,  El Velázquez 17 en pleno barrio de Salamanca.  Y entre el delicioso desayuno, joyas que asimilan máquinas y que se ven chulas he pasado un día fenomenal.

Wednesday of news! Hello, here I am trying to stay in routine and write as usual but what I really want is to write from the new website with its new look, you see, even the blog style deserves a new style.

Today's event was the presentation of the new brand jewelry collection Machine of the architect and designer, Gabriela Mora, a Venezuelan who lives in Madrid and with a clear contemporary vision in her work. The discovery of the story behind each jewel is a whole creative world that for this collection revolves around the Russian Constructivism.

The futuristic inspiration is present in these jewels with an art and architectural aesthetic with the right mix of conceptual art, as the designer says: "My designs are super geometric. I need the scale in my creations, I need to know the actual size that will have the piece, so I make small models from the drawings to see the measures and then is that I go to the metal". These jewels are ideal for lovers of minimalism, contemporary and abstract designs.

The presentation of the collection has taken place in the restaurant, also owned by Venezuelans, El Velazquez 17 in the Barrio de Salamanca. Among the delicious breakfast and jewelry assimilating machines that look cool I have spent a great day.

Bye Bye Rainy Days

Hola Chicas! Aquí me tenéis nuevamente, como os he comentado hace poco, estoy trabajando con la nueva imagen del blog, nuevos proyectos y todo esto me tiene muy ocupada pero con unas ganas tremendas de empezar esta nueva etapa y sobre todo lograr compartirlo con vosotras. Mientras sigo en modo “construcción” os dejo un look que he preparado para hoy como respuesta a vuestras peticiones! 

No es sorpresa que el clima lluvioso nos ha tomado justo en la transición de temporada primavera-verano, pero al parecer a partir de hoy comienzan unos días de sol y finalmente podremos acertar mejor con nuestros looks. 

El look de hoy es parte de esos días lluviosos e inciertos que a veces nos hace dudar sobre qué llevar, en mi caso una biker es ideal para días lluviosos o un clima inesperado, suavizar la sensación de querer vestir con colores oscuros con un verde militar, una camisa a cuadros y completar el look con complementos que en mi caso se traducen en los So Kate en color nude y el bolso LV.

Hello Girls! Here I am again, as I have mentioned recently, I am working with the new image of the blog, new projects and all this has me very busy but with a tremendous desire to start this new phase that soon I'll share with you. While I'm still under "construction" I have prepare a new look specially for all of you who have requested it!

Not surprisingly, the rainy weather has taken us right in the transition of spring-summer season, but apparently from today begin a few days of sun and finally we can plan better our looks.

The look today is part of those rainy and uncertain days that sometimes makes us doubt about what to wear, in my case, a biker is ideal for rainy days or unexpected weather, it is also good to soften the feeling of wanting to dress in dark colors with an army  green color, a plaid shirt and complete the look with pieces that in my case result in the So Kate in nude color and the LV bag.

Remember also that it is time to renew our closet, say a temporary goodbye to winter garments and say hello to the new season must haves. If you do not know how to organize and optimize your closet I am happy to advise you!
