SO KATE Y RAYAS

Hola chicas, ya es jueves!! Mi espiración para el look de hoy se ha basado en lo que ya sabéis que adoro, los tacones. Esa pasión por el sonido de mis tacones en las  calles de Madrid. Mi look está acompañado por el escenario chic de la milla de oro del barrio de Salamanca, esta zona llena de propuestas para buscar inspiración, ir de compras de lujo y no tan compulsivas y detenerme en la moda escandinava con la tienda sueca & Other Stories.

He recordado al elegir uno de mis tacones favoritos de Christian louboutin la entrevista que le han hecho a este diseñador francés en el canal CBS News en donde afirma que para él no sería un cumplido que sus diseños se cataloguen como "cómodos" porque para él lo más importante es el diseño y que la mujer se sienta sexy. Según Louboutin:  "El misterio de los tacones es que se llevan sólo en los pies pero puede transformar por completo el lenguaje corporal de una mujer ".

Y con esta máxima os adentro en mi look donde hoy me he sentido más sexy que cómoda. La blusa es ideal para figuras petite porque Las rayas van en vertical lo que estiliza la figura mucho más que las horizontales, un pantalón negro para dejar total protagonismo al bolso rojo de Purificación García  queva a juego con las suelas de mis So kate.

Hi girls, It’s already Thursday!

 

This look inspiration is based on what you know I love, high heels. Is a passion aboutlistening the sound of my heels on the streets of Madrid. Together with the look is alsoa great scenario in the so called golden mile of El Barrio de Salamanca which is full of high end shops, inspiration and not so compulsive shopping, also to stop by the scandinavian fashion and swedish store & Other Stories.

 

When I chose one of my favorite shoes of the designer Christian Louboutin came to my mind that interview of CBS News where he says that we wouldn't take as a compliment that his shoes are comfortable because for him the most important is the design and that a woman should feel good and sexy. In his own words: “ the mystery of the heel is that it’s only on the feet but it totally transforms the body language of the woman”.

 

And with this quote I let you into my look where I feel more sexy than comfortable. The blouse is ideal for petite girls as the stripes are vertical and help to stylize the bodyshape and  black pants to make shine the red bag from Purificación García thatmatches with the So Kate heels red sole.

MAXI CHAQUETA

 

Hola Chicas! Una de las tendencias de este otoño/invierno 2015 - 2016 es la maxichaqueta  o abrigo extralong. En sus diversas versiones, es una pieza clave que me encanta para esos domingos soleados como hoy con temperaturas no tan bajas. Ideal para paseos por la ciudad, una tarde en el cine o incluso para esos ‘lazy sundays’ tipo Netflix en casa, hojeando una Vogue o un buen libro .

 

 

Esta tendencia la hemos visto en las propuestas otoño/invierno16 de Hermès e IsabelMarant. La clave de este look es que hace énfasis en un estilo effortless chic con tintes bohemios o indie y  donde, a su vez, podemos jugar y potenciar con los límites del largo. 

 

Como veréis, a  la hora de interpretar el look me he inclinado por tonos neutros y lo he contrastado con el cuero, otra de las tendencias de esta temporada que no podéis dejar escapar, y para completar el look... No sin mis Valentinos! 

 

Os deseo un feliz puente y espero que las temperaturas y los rayos de sol nos sigan permitiendo llevar prendas alternativas como ésta. Que disfrutéis de las fotos!

 

 

Hi there! One of the main trends for this fall/winter 2015 - 2016 is the so called maxijacket or the extralong coat. In its different versions, the thing I love about thisgarment is that it is ideal for those sunny sundays with not so low temperatures. Thisoutfit is great for going around the city, a cinema afternoon or even for lazy sundayswith Netflix at home or reading Vogue or a nice book.

 

We have seen this trends in Hermès and Isabel Marant A/W16 collections. The key to this look is the effortless chic style with a bohemian or indie twist and the nice thing, is that we are free to play with the lengths. 

 

As you can see, I have chosen neutral colors for this look and I have made a contrastwith leather, another of the main trends of the season that you can’t let go, and to complete the look… Not without my Valentinos!

Hola chicas! Después de una mañana en  el Mamá Framboise ubicado en  Platea, uno de mis salones de té franceses favoritos en Madrid por su decorado retro e infinidad de propuestas en pastelería, aproveché para hacer unas fotos de un look con la chaqueta bomber que he llevado hace un mes exactamente, pero esta vez reinterpretado en clave sporty con una midi o pencil skirt.

 

Me parece ideal sacar el máximo a los fondos de armario y darme cuenta que algunas inversiones son versátiles y grandes apuestas ya que la tendencia militar parace haber venido para quedarse. 

 

Sobre el look, en principio os puede parecer un outfit un poco casual con tintes ‘tomboy’ o masculino al ser la chaqueta de corte militar o  aviador y también porque he optado por unas zapatillas y una camiseta básica pero con la falda todo cobra un giro  interesante, de hecho, al emular este estilismo he recordado la frase famosa  “Olvida las reglas. Si te gusta, póntelo!”.  Así que espero que podáis sentiros libres a la hora de llevar e interpretar un army look este invierno.

Hello girls! After a morning visit to Mamá Framboise inside of  Platea, which by the way is  one of my favorite french tea and boulangerie space in Madrid, maybe because of its retro decor and sweets, I took the opportunity to make some pics for this post. As you might realize I’m wearing again that bomber jacket I wore exactly a month ago but this time with a  more casual look and using a midi or pencil skirt.

 

I think it’s ideal to take full advantage of your wardrobe and realize that certain investments can turn into a very versatile choice as the army trend seems that  will be staying for a while.

 

About the look, It might seem a bit too casual or tomboy as the jacket has a strong army or a sort of aviator style and also because I have chosen sneakers to go with it and a basic t-shirt but the midi skirt gives an interesting twist to it. That actually made me remember that famous quote “Forget the Rules. if you like it, wear it!”. So I really hope that you feel free to style your way the army look for this winter.
