Midnight in Paris

Bonne nuit desde París! Aquí estoy como el escritor Gil pender, de la película Medianoche en París de Woody Allen, a la espera de que esta ciudad me siga sorprendiendo, la verdad es que París tiene algo impresionante, ese ‘je ne sais quoi’ que la hace encantadora.

Por aquí como sabéis es la semana de la moda y tengo muchos que contaros sobre ésto. Pero también han sido días lluviosos incluso ayer una pequeña nevada que me hizo apreciar el clima de mi Madrid, que por cierto ha estado genial estos días. Para la sesión de fotos de hoy todavía estaba en Madrid y bajo un día frío pero igual he querido prepararos un look desenfadado y más de transición de temporada con tejanos blancos, toques geométricos en la bufanda y el uso del azul.

Un abrazo desde aquí y espero que cuando suene la campanada de la medianoche como en Midnight in Paris venga a por mi Ernest Hemingway o quizás mejor Coco Chanel y Christian Dior, sería un verdadero encuentro! Un abrazo y os dejo con las fotos!

Bonne nuit from Paris! Here I am like Gil Pender, the writer of the film Midnight in Paris of Woody Allen, hoping that this city continues to amaze me while in here. The truth is that Paris has something impressive, that 'je ne sais quoi' that makes it lovely.

As you know it is fashion week over here and I have a lot to tell you about this, It has also been rainy and even yesterday a small snowfall that made me appreciate the weather of my Madrid, which actually has been great these days. For the photo shoot today I was still in Madrid and during a cold day but  I  just wanted to prepare for you a more casual look and a transition for the next season with white jeans, geometric touches on the scarf and the use of green.

A hug from here and I hope that when the bells rings in midnight as the movie Ernest Hemingway or perhaps better Coco Chanel and Christian Dior, comes to pick me up...It would be actually very fun! A hug to you all and here the pics!

Hola chicas! Después de una mañana en  el Mamá Framboise ubicado en  Platea, uno de mis salones de té franceses favoritos en Madrid por su decorado retro e infinidad de propuestas en pastelería, aproveché para hacer unas fotos de un look con la chaqueta bomber que he llevado hace un mes exactamente, pero esta vez reinterpretado en clave sporty con una midi o pencil skirt.

 

Me parece ideal sacar el máximo a los fondos de armario y darme cuenta que algunas inversiones son versátiles y grandes apuestas ya que la tendencia militar parace haber venido para quedarse. 

 

Sobre el look, en principio os puede parecer un outfit un poco casual con tintes ‘tomboy’ o masculino al ser la chaqueta de corte militar o  aviador y también porque he optado por unas zapatillas y una camiseta básica pero con la falda todo cobra un giro  interesante, de hecho, al emular este estilismo he recordado la frase famosa  “Olvida las reglas. Si te gusta, póntelo!”.  Así que espero que podáis sentiros libres a la hora de llevar e interpretar un army look este invierno.

Hello girls! After a morning visit to Mamá Framboise inside of  Platea, which by the way is  one of my favorite french tea and boulangerie space in Madrid, maybe because of its retro decor and sweets, I took the opportunity to make some pics for this post. As you might realize I’m wearing again that bomber jacket I wore exactly a month ago but this time with a  more casual look and using a midi or pencil skirt.

 

I think it’s ideal to take full advantage of your wardrobe and realize that certain investments can turn into a very versatile choice as the army trend seems that  will be staying for a while.

 

About the look, It might seem a bit too casual or tomboy as the jacket has a strong army or a sort of aviator style and also because I have chosen sneakers to go with it and a basic t-shirt but the midi skirt gives an interesting twist to it. That actually made me remember that famous quote “Forget the Rules. if you like it, wear it!”. So I really hope that you feel free to style your way the army look for this winter.

ABRIGO COCOON

Hola todos, el otoño no ha hecho más que comenzar y de momento no nos ha hecho falta prendas de abrigo, bueno dependiendo de donde vivamos claro hablo en Madrid que es donde vivo y aquí no ha hecho falta de verdad, pero hace dos fines de semana estuve en Burgos y allí la historia es otra, por la mañana tempranito y a la tarde/noche se agradecen. 

 Yo desde hace ya algunas semanas vengo incorporando prendas para la nueva temporada y una de mis nuevas adquisiciones ha sido el abrigo de estilo COCOON.

 El año pasado se vieron bastante, pero este año vienen aún más fuerte aunque en realidad este estilo tuvo su época dorada en los años 60 con el diseñador  Cristóbal Balenciaga  el fue el rey de los acabados ovalados, volúmenes curvos y hombres redondeados y abombados gracias a estos detalles identificamos este estilo. 

También son llamados abrigos Hand made  y vosotras os apuntáis a la tendencia de los abrigos oversize?
